So I decided to start this year with healthy eating (and cooking) and I found this recipe in a magazine. I personally do not like salads but this one feels like a firework of different tastes in your mouth plus it is very healhy and low on calories.
Time:15 min
Ingridients:
- Salad leafs (any kind will do)
- Fresh tomatoes
- Calamari rings (I used frozen ones)
- Olive oil
- Spices (I used Italian, Basil, Paprika)
- Salt and pepper
- Olives (optional)
- Basil leafs (they are optional but they make a difference)
- Balsamic vinegar
- Minced garlic (optional)
Instructions:
- Boil calamari rings (if frozen) for 3 minutes then transfer to a frying pan and fry in olive oil, add minced garlic (1 spoon), salt, pepper and spices. Fry until they get golden colour on the sides
- Toss salad leafs, add basil leafs and sliced tomatoes
- Add grilled calamari into the salad and sprinkle with balsamic vinegar
